ModernFlyouts is an open source application designed to replace the default Metro-style flyouts in Windows with a more modern, Fluent Design–based user interface. Instead of the old built-in popups for system feedback like volume, brightness, and airplane mode, ModernFlyouts temporarily intercepts those events and displays customizable flyouts that blend more seamlessly with recent Windows UI aesthetics. It extends beyond audio flyouts to cover media controls, brightness changes, airplane mode toggles, and even lock key indicators such as Caps Lock and Num Lock, offering a unified experience for all these system notifications. Users can adjust not just the look but the behavior of these flyouts (including layout, position, opacity, and animation) letting it feel more natural to individual preferences. The project’s roots trace back to AudioFlyout by ADeltaX, with further enhancements added by the community to support more flyout types and improved interaction. -

Ark pixel font - Open source Pan-CJK pixel font / Ark pixel font - Open source Pan-CJK pixel font. An open-source pan-Chinese-Japanese-Korean pixel font. 10, 12 and 16 pixels are supported. The goal is to provide an out-of-the-box pixel font solution for game development that can be used for text. This project not only provides all the glyph source files, but also provides the complete program needed to build the font. This font is still in early development and still lacks a large number of Chinese characters in all sizes. Among them, 12 pixels are the main development target. 10, 16 pixels are experimental. Efforts are currently underway to achieve the availability of 12 pixels under the GB2312 character set. We have a temporary interim solution available for production until the full font is available, check out the Stitcher Pixel Font project. -

Monitorian is a desktop utility designed for Windows that gives users a simple and centralized way to control the brightness (and optionally contrast) of multiple displays from one place. It supports both built-in laptop screens and external monitors, allowing adjustments either on a per-monitor basis or all together at once, making it especially useful for multi-monitor setups. The app displays sliders for each connected monitor, and on systems with ambient light sensors it can show both the configured brightness and the sensor-adjusted brightness to help you fine-tune lighting according to your environment. Monitorian also lets you adjust the range of brightness and contrast values for each monitor so you can set custom limits that better match your preferences. Usability features include gesture support on precision touchpads and easy renaming of monitors to keep them organized in the UI. Its interface sits in the system tray for quick access. -

Bootstrap Icons are published to npm, but they can also be manually downloaded if needed. Bootstrap Icons are SVGs, so you can include them into your HTML in a few ways depending on how your project is setup. We recommend using a width: 1em (and optionally height: 1em) for easy resizing via font-size. Embed your icons within the HTML of your page (as opposed to an external image file). Here we’ve used a custom width and height. Use the SVG sprite to insert any icon through the <use> element. Use the icon’s filename as the fragment identifier (e.g., toggles is #toggles). SVG sprites allow you to reference an external file similar to an <img> element, but with the power of currentColor for easy theming. -
