This application is intended to provide an overview of a site's own authoritative named (DNS) server's "zone" files. Note that it does NOT create or modify any files - so don't expect to use this application to "set up" a DNS server. phpdnstool is based on dnstool created by tim shea. phpdnstool uses an acl file much like dnstool. phpdnstool provides an easy to use web interface for djbdns administrator's and end users. (Must be installed by the server administrator)

dotP2P would consist of servers running caches to keep track of domain and nameserver records. Cache servers can be created with any server that supports XML-RPC or SOAP. MySQL is used to store the the cache data.
