Scoop Installer
A command-line installer for Windows
Scoop is a command-line installer for Windows. If you have built software that you would like others to use, Scoop is an alternative to building an installer (like MSI or InnoSetup). You just need to compress your app to a .zip file and provide a JSON manifest that describes how to install it. Scoop downloads and manages packages in a portable way, keeping them neatly isolated in ~\scoop. It won't install files outside its home, and you can place a Scoop installation wherever you like. For terminal applications, Scoop creates shims, a kind of command-line shortcut, inside the ~\scoop\shims folder, which is accessible in the PATH. For graphical applications, Scoop creates program shortcuts in a dedicated Start menu folder, called 'Scoop Apps'. This way, packages are always cleanly uninstalled and you can be sure what tools are currently in your PATH and in your Start menu. -

This project (licensed under LGPLv3) provides full documented procedures to build PostgreSQL from sources (and some additional extensions / Foreign Data Wrappers: sqlite_fdw, www_fdw, mysql_fdw, ldap_fdw, couchdb_fdw, oracle_fdw, odbc_fdw...) using MinGW-w64 (recent versions of gcc - 4.8.0 or later). It also provides ready made binaries/releases targetting Win32 as well as Win64 (Windows7). Note: Installers are also released to make easy the installation of the PostgreSQL extensions mentioned above in PostgreSQL installations made from the official Windows 7 - 32-bit and 64-bit - installers (those extensions releases - DLLs - being fully compatible with the said installers). -

The Slackpkg+ project is a simple plugin that allow the user to add third-party repositories to slackpkg so to use a single tool for keep update the slackware installation and to install non-official packages. Like slackpkg, slackpkg+ leave unchanged the slackware philosophy becouse the user take full control of installation process. Slackpkg+ also allow to install and keep updated the alienbob's compat32 libraries so to have a multilib system without download and install it manually. Slackpkg+ is NOT a new tool with new commands. NSISBI aims to remove the current 2GB limit found in NSIS. This version adds support for using a separate file for storing the install data, therefore allowing installer sizes up to a theoretical max size of 8EB (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_EXTERNAL_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). On versions before 7069-1, the compiler (makensis) is designed to run on 64 bit machines as this is the feature needed to make installers bigger than 2GB. On versions before 7208-1, source files added to the installer are limited to 2GB per file (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_LARGE_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). This project is the result of several different experiments focused on relieving the 2GB limit in NSIS, so it's still a work in progress. I'll try to keep it up to date with each major NSIS release. -
