SD WebImage
Asynchronous image downloader with cache support
This library provides an async image downloader with cache support. For convenience, we added categories for UI elements like UIImageView, UIButton, MKAnnotationView. SD is the prefix for Simple Design (which is the team name in Daily Motion company from the author Olivier Poitrey) Image formats supported by Apple system (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, ...), including GIF/APNG animated image. In order to keep SDWebImage focused and limited to the core features, but also allow extensibility and custom behaviors, during the 5.0 refactoring we focused on modularizing the library. SwiftUI is an innovative UI framework written in Swift to build user interfaces across all Apple platforms. We support SwiftUI by building a brand new framework called SDWebImageSwiftUI, which is built on top of SDWebImage core functions (caching, loading and animation). -

SocketRocket
A conforming Objective-C WebSocket client library
A conforming WebSocket (RFC 6455) client library for iOS, macOS and tvOS. SocketRocket currently conforms to all core ~300 of Autobahn's fuzzing tests (aside from two UTF-8 ones where it is merely non-strict tests 6.4.2 and 6.4.4). SocketRocket is asynchronous and non-blocking. Most of the work is done on a background thread. You can include SocketRocket as a subproject inside of your application if you'd prefer, although we do not recommend this, as it will increase your indexing time significantly. To do so, just drag and drop the SocketRocket.xcodeproj file into your workspace. Included are setup scripts for the python testing environment. It comes packaged with vitualenv so all the dependencies are installed in userland. SocketRocket includes a demo app, TestChat. It will "chat" with a listening websocket on port 9900. The sever takes a message and broadcasts it to all other connected clients. -

OS X menubar status indicator
AnyBar is a small indicator for your menubar that does one simple thing: it displays a colored dot. What the dot means and when to change it is up to you. AnyBar is controlled via a UDP port (1738 by default). Before any commands can be sent, AnyBar.app must be launched. Once launched, you may send it a message to change the style of the dot. black and white always has black or white fill. On Big Sur, where text color of menubar might change depending on the wallpaper, you might want to use filled and hollow instead. They are inverted when menubar changes its appearance. You can run several instances of AnyBar as long as they listen on different ports. Use the ANYBAR_PORT environment variable to change the port and open -na to run several instances. A title can be set to distinguish dots in the menubar. And the initial color of the dot can also be set. -

DateTools was written to streamline date and time handling in iOS. Classes and concepts from other languages served as an inspiration for DateTools, especially the DateTime structure and Time Period Library for .NET. Through these classes and others, DateTools removes the boilerplate required to access date components, handles more nuanced date comparisons, and serves as the foundation for entirely new concepts like Time Periods and their collections. All the classes required for DateTools are located in the DateTools folder in the root of this repository. DateTools.h contains the headers for all the other files. Import this if you want to link to the entire framework. One of the missions of DateTools was to make Date feel more complete. There are many other languages that allow direct access to information about dates from their date classes, but Date (sadly) does not. -
