    iCalendar Generator

    iCalendar Generator

Generate calendars in the iCalendar format

Want to create online calendars so that you can display them on an iPhone's calendar app or in Google Calendar? This can be done by generating calendars in the iCalendar format (RFC 5545), a textual format that can be loaded by different applications. The format of such calendars is defined in RFC 5545, which is not a pleasant reading experience. This package implements RFC 5545 and some extensions from RFC 7986 to provide you an easy-to-use API for creating calendars. It's not our intention to implement these RFC's entirely but to provide a straightforward API that's easy to use.

    timeago.js

    timeago.js

timeago.js is a tiny(2.0 kb) library used to format dates

timeago.js is a tiny(2kb) library used to format date with `*** time ago`. eg: '3 hours ago'. No dependency. and support automatically updating fuzzy timestamps (e.g. "4 minutes ago" or "about 1 day ago"). Download, view the examples, and enjoy. timeago.js was built to format date with `*** time ago` statement. You can test timeago.js with the live demo. Avoid timestamps dated "1 minute ago" even though the page was opened 10 minutes ago; timeago refreshes automatically. You can take full advantage of page caching in your web applications, because the timestamps aren't calculated on the server. Very tiny(less than 2kb), and has no dependency, e.g. jQuery.

    Appointment scheduler

    Appointment scheduler

Application to schedule appointments written in Java (Spring Boot)

This is a Spring Boot Web Application to manage and schedule appointments between providers and customers. It has many features such as automatic invoicing, email notifications, appointment cancelation, providers' individual working plans with breaks etc. Admin can add new providers, services and assign services to providers. Admin can see list of all: appointments, providers, customers, and invoices. He can also issue invoices manually for all confirmed appointments. The provider can set his own working plan, add breaks to that working plan and change his available services. The provider sees only his own appointments. After the appointment status is changed to the finished system automatically sends an email to the customer with information that appointment is finished. In case the appointment didn't take place there is also a link attached to that email that allows customers to reject that the appointment didn't take place.

It supports temperature monitoring, per-core stats, I/O graphs, swap, battery information, and network auto-scaling, making it suitable for serious monitoring on laptops and servers alike.

    Chronos

    Chronos

Fault tolerant job scheduler for Mesos to handle dependencies

Chronos is a replacement for cron. It is a distributed and fault-tolerant scheduler that runs on top of Apache Mesos that can be used for job orchestration. It supports custom Mesos executors as well as the default command executor. Thus by default, Chronos executes sh (on most systems bash) scripts. Chronos can be used to interact with systems such as Hadoop (incl. EMR), even if the Mesos slaves on which execution happens do not have Hadoop installed. Chronos is also natively able to schedule jobs that run inside Docker containers. Chronos has a number of advantages over regular cron. It allows you to schedule your jobs using ISO8601 repeating interval notation, which enables more flexibility in job scheduling. Chronos also supports the definition of jobs triggered by the completion of other jobs. It supports arbitrarily long dependency chains. The easiest way to use Chronos is to use DC/OS and install chronos via the universe.

    React Infinite Calendar

    React Infinite Calendar

Infinite scrolling date-picker built with React

The React Infinite Calendar project is a highly customizable date picker component for React applications that leverages virtualized rendering to provide smooth infinite scrolling through dates. It is designed to handle large date ranges efficiently by rendering only visible elements, which significantly improves performance compared to traditional calendar components. The library supports features such as localization, theming, keyboard navigation, and flexible date constraints, making it suitable for a wide variety of use cases. It integrates seamlessly with modern React workflows and supports multiple module formats for easy adoption in different environments. The component also includes advanced display options such as overlays, animations, and helper elements to enhance user experience. Its architecture relies on virtualization techniques to maintain responsiveness even when navigating across decades of dates.

    pickadate

    pickadate

jQuery date and time input picker

There’s a tonne of options to customize the date and time pickers, such as month/year selectors, time intervals, etc. There’s also a rich API to extend the functionality of the picker. Some examples are displayed on Codepen. When using the “classic” theme, it is important to have a wrapper div with position, relative around the source input to ensure the picker is sized according to the input element it is bound to. Supports all modern browsers – and IE8+. Specifically, v3 has been tested with Chrome MWA, Firefox MWA, Opera MWA, Safari Mi, Internet Explorer W, Blackberry 6.0+ and Android 3.2+ browsers. Make sure to also include the legacy.js file along for the oldie browsers. pickadate.js is an open source project, shared under an MIT license. All themes are generated using LESS and compiled from the lib/themes-source folder into the lib/themes folder. The translations live in the lib/translations folder. There are currently 43 language translations included.

    pyphoon

    pyphoon

ASCII Art Phase of the Moon (Python version)

pyphoon is a small command-line program that renders the current Moon phase as detailed ASCII art directly in your terminal. It computes lunar ephemerides for a given date and location, then maps the illuminated portion onto characters to approximate shading with surprising fidelity. The tool supports showing past or future phases, so you can visualize how the Moon will look on specific dates without opening a browser or an app. It’s intentionally minimal: no GUI, no heavy dependencies, just a quick way to check illumination, age, and phase names in text form. Because it runs cross-platform and works over SSH, it’s popular among terminal enthusiasts and sysadmins who live in the command line. The output can be scripted into cron jobs, motd banners, dashboards, or shared in chat to add a bit of astronomical flair to daily workflows.
