NoteBook FanControl (NBFC) is a cross-platform fan control service for notebooks. It comes with a powerful configuration system, which allows to adjust it to many different notebook models. Currently, there are no pre-built releases for Linux, but you can easily build NBFC yourself. In general the NBFC Wiki is the first place to go if you have any questions. If you want to build NBFC from source, the first thing you have to do is to download the source code. You can easily clone the NBFC repository via git. Make sure the Mono runtime + development tools are installed on your machine (Debian based distros: mono-complete, Arch based distros: mono). Config files are an integral part of NBFC, because they define how NBFC interacts with your notebook's embedded controller (EC). The EC monitors your system's temperatures and controls the fan(s). It sits on the motherboard or is integrated into a Super I/O chip & is connected to the Southbridge via the Low Pin Count (LPC) bus. -

DeSmuME is a Nintendo DS emulator
DeSmuME is the most seasoned open source Nintendo DS emulator. It sports tools designed for hackers, speedrunners, youtubers, and casual gamers. Homebrew programs are supported and can even be debugged through GDB. The Windows and OSX versions are both relatively feature rich, and there is a small universe of forks and mods that add even more features for casual gaming. DeSmuME is the origin of RetroArch and OpenEmu Nintendo DS support and is used by several mobile Nintendo DS emulators, with the notable exception of DraStic. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. It is written with portability in mind, with builds actively maintained for Windows, Linux and macOS. Citra emulates a subset of 3DS hardware and therefore is useful for running/debugging homebrew applications, and it is also able to run many commercial games! Some of these do not run at a playable state, but we are working every day to advance the project forward. (Playable here means compatibility of at least "Okay" on our game compatibility list.) Citra is licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). Refer to the license.txt file included. Please read the FAQ before getting started with the project. LZ4 is lossless compression algorithm, providing compression speed > 500 MB/s per core (>0.15 Bytes/cycle). It features an extremely fast decoder, with speed in multiple GB/s per core (~1 Byte/cycle). A high compression derivative, called LZ4_HC, is available, trading customizable CPU time for compression ratio. LZ4 library is provided as open-source software using a BSD license. This benchmark simulates simple "static content transfer" scenario such as OS Kernel compression or video game's static assets (text/images/tables/scripts/etc) which loading from Flash Memory / HDD / SSD. In this case, compression time is completely ignored. Because only content developers compress the data at once and usually they don't care about its computational cost. But they always care end user's experience a.k.a. "loading time" and bandwidth. Please pay attention to "LZ4HC -9" which is quite faster than other methods. -
