I.e., I try to<br /> "quit", and it says that it is shutting down, but it<br /> never actually does and I have to force quit it. Using<br /> the activity monitor, it looks like the java process<br /> has gone away, and so it doesn't seem to be waiting on<br /> that ...</p> <p>I tried deleting everything I could find related to<br /> acqlite -- (~/Library/[Application Support, Caches,<br /> Preferences], /Library[same] etc.) (Although %^*&amp;!@<br /> Spotlight is very bad about ever actually telling you<br /> about things it thinks you shouldn't know about, so<br /> there may have been other things hiding somewhere.) <br /> Then I rebooted and re-installed and am seeing the same<br /> behavior.</p> <p>For what it's worth, Acquisition occasionally used to<br /> exhibit the same problem (although it usually looked<br /> like it was waiting on java), but wiping everything and<br /> starting over always seemed to fix it.</p> <p>This is with acqlite 0.2.8, under Mac OS-X 10.4.6 .
