II have the same setup. The last few lines /var/log/miniserv.error are attached. The last 3 seem to be the relevant ones. This was taken today (28th aug) immediately after setting debug=1 and launching afick from webmin. The error ours immediately, no need to enter into any menus.

I can not reproduce the problem. I am on debian 10, with webmin 1.955, afick 3.6.1, wbm-afick 1.11, and I have tried almost all menus. Can you tell me which menu are you testing, and maybe send me the /var/webmin/miniserv.error file (it not too big)

Some further testing shows that if debug is set > 0 the webmin module errors with a "bad header" error.

The problem comes from an old code clean. It is fixed in 1.11 (beta) release. If you want to test it, the new release is attached

The problem was fixed in source file (tar.gz) in 3.6.1, but the deb packages are built with alien from rpm packages, and the defaut config for rpm is to replace the shebang. I will fix it in next release

File not found error in cron job

The default daily cron job file afick_cron exits with a file not found error. I traced this to the shebang line at the head of afick_cron being /usr/bin/sh. In my Debian 10 environment, sh is located at '/bin/sh' which I think is the default. Changing the shebang line to /bin/sh fixed that error.
