I have become too busy to continue development of the aivis project. This is unfortunate considering the possiblities aivis presented for the future of information security, and system administration. Hopefully, I will be able to return to development sooner, rather then later.

Aivis's first release. Version 0.1a-pre-alpha

We have finally released the first pre-alpha version of code. It contains everything done up to this point. It was pulled from the daily snapshot of the cvs so it may not compile, although from last report it all does. It is version 0.1a-pre-alpha. The most important thing in this release is the mail parsing scripts and the core functionality of some of the host package. Keep and eye out for the next release as it should provide a great deal of changes from this release, including a complete/almost complete rewrite of all of the java code, as well as the first vulnerability management code.

This document details the high-level functions that make up aivis. It is from a technical standpoint. A basic english translation is coming as soon as it can be generated. Additionally you should be aware that these are the "planned" functions. This is where the project would like to go, not where we are now.
