a nice feature will be the selection of the audio track to use for the vob-files. some files have multiple audio tracks (german / englisch for example). at default any2vob uses the englisch stream in my cases. so i hope you can release a commandline switch for axample to specify the audio language to use.

Because nevertheless what input one passes to anydvd, it always really reencodes the video and audio stream.
I don't know if i am right or wrong but i guess there is a more efficent (faster) way to make vobs out of mpg2-files (like ts for example).

I've used any2dvd to create a DVD. It works very fine, but here is something I would like to add:

* The language of the audio tracks is not recognized and by default all get "EN", which of course is not true.

I had a look to the script and I have seen that this is hardwired. I suggest that the language could be recognized from the track (when possible) or the user give a chance to select the language identifier for each audio track.
