4. id3lib library which is required is tested for.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I know that make runs configure again but that is a&lt;br /&gt;

configure while making and in the process breaking &lt;br /&gt;
the compilation of arson. Not good. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here's a hack^h^h^h^hpatch to address this issue.... &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you're applying this patch to 0.9.8beta1 as &lt;br /&gt;
opposed to the latest CVS, you will get two rejected &lt;br /&gt;
hunks in 'VERSION' and 'Makefile.in'. You can safely &lt;br /&gt;
ignore these, though you may want to apply the &lt;br /&gt;
changes to VERSION by hand. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Enjoy! other improvements from k3b.  The files are in UTF-8,&lt;br /&gt;
will gzip just in case.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Another nice thing about this is that when the desktop&lt;br /&gt;
files of k3b and arson are synced, eg. rpm packages of&lt;br /&gt;
