This is an early developer release intended for testing purposes only.

This alpha has only basic features, without advanced functions, like Scheduler, Hotkey, Mouse Sensors and etc... Don't worry, these functions will back in Alpha 3. For more information, see the roadmap ( https://github.com/salvadorbs/Asuite/issues/milestones ).

Changelog
Frontend
Added Windows 7 support
Removed SaveSecurity
Improved Search
Added Most Frequently Used list in TrayMenu

Backed
Porting to Lazarus 1.0.6/FPC 2.6.2
Use sqlite database as storage format (instead xml)
Rewrited many parts of code
Added complete PNG support

Known issues
This version is not available in other language than English. I will add localization in Alpha 3 or Beta version.

Download ASuite 2.0 Alpha 2 https://sourceforge.net/projects/asuite/files/ASuite/2.0%20Alpha%202/

New Revision Control System for ASuite

In these days, ASuite's code has been moved to GitHub, a famous social coding. It is available here.

This move has purpose to improve project's visibility and attract new developers in it.

Why Github?
Github is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the Git revision control system. The site provides social networking functionality such as feeds, followers and the network graph to display how developers work on their versions of a repository.

For more info, you can see github's features page

The old SVN repository is closed and it will never update.

I'm back, sorry for being late :D

Yeah, I'm back. In these days, I had some spare time for ASuite Project.

Sourceforge
First of all, I disabled Tracker and Forums module in ASuite Page at Sourceforge. In the place of sourceforge's Tracker, I choose a more powerful issue tracking system: trac ( http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/asuite/ ).

I choose Trac because it has got two very interesting and useful features: timeline ( http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/asuite/timeline ) and roadmap ( http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/asuite/roadmap ). From Trac's website:
Trac allows wiki markup in issue descriptions and commit messages, creating links and seamless references between bugs, tasks, changesets, files and wiki pages. A timeline shows all current and past project events in order, making the acquisition of an overview of the project and tracking progress very easy. The roadmap shows the road ahead, listing the upcoming milestones.

ASuite 1.x
I'm sorry, but ASuite 1.5.2 Beta is the last 1.x version. It is enough stable and I haven't time to continue this branch. I prefer to rewrite ASuite with a better code (classes, thread to speed up startup, new locale toolkit and etc...), but I have no objections if somebody wants to develop another ASuite 1.x from my sources (fork).

ASuite 2.0
In these days, I begain again ASuite 2.0's development. This is my progress in the last week (from 31/05 to today):
- deleted advanced functions's code (for now useless)
- updated my development environment (Delphi 2009+VirtualTreeview 4.8.5)
- replaced TCoolTrayicon with Delphi's TTrayicon
- replaced TNGImage with Delphi's TPNGImage (yes, alpha support compatibility) and removed jpeg support
- replaced my Locale Toolkit with DXGetText

Moreover, I wrote a new ASuite 2.0 roadmap. You can see it here ( http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/asuite/roadmap ).

Hi everybody, I'm sorry, but the last months I haven't time for ASuite. Don't worry, I hope to dedicate time for ASuite in the immediate future. ASuite isn't dead! :)

ASuite Survey
Another good news, I maked an ASuite Survey. This survey is intended to help me prioritize potential features for next version and so make a new ASuite Roadmap.

This features list is based on the features of ASuite 1.5.2 and ASuite 2.0 (e.g. plugin system, better performance, multiuser) and some your tips (e.g some launcher options, regular expressions).

The survey ends on the 31th of January and the results will be available shortly thereafter. To take the survey now, go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=fXvIuvKoW7LALyycwN75eQ_3d_3d .

Please take a couple of minutes of your time and help me make ASuite better. Thanks.
