Sorry, I can't see that image. I don't think images stored on github can be accessed outside of github like that, either add it as an attachment or give me a link to the github page where the image is embedded.

Hello, when I run keepass with enforced config, the contained settings should be grayed out in GUI like this:

Could you add such mechanics for AutoTypeShow hotkey settings too? (in the Custom section)

Thanks for your suggestion. I think it would be out of scope for this plugin, but might make sense as a separate plugin. If a plugin existed that for any entry, could open a customizable floating mini-window with drag and drop capability such as you describe, then I would certainly modify this plugin to be able to trigger that instead of the main window.

Making a plugin custom window like that would be a fairly large job, though, and it's not something I have the time available for right now. Perhaps if you post it as a suggestion on the main KeePass forum someone will like the idea enough to create one.

Hi Alex,

thanks a lot for your plugin ShowEntry I'm using for years.
Let me suggest you an enhancement : When I use ShowEntry, it's mainly because automatic fill-in is not really functional, or quite difficult to implement, and then, from window displayed by ShowEntry, I drag'n drop name and password on the login form.
This works, but is not always easy, because Keepass window opened by ShowEntry is quite large, and is over the window with form to fill.

Would it be possible, rather than to open the full Keepass window, to open a (new) window, containing ONLY the selected entry, and only some fields : login and password (and maybe title) should be enough (Ideally, list of fields to display should be parameterizable), the main goal being to display a window as small as possible. Nevertheless, drag'n drop from this window must remain available.

I do not have any idea about difficulty of such a development.
But if by chance it looks feasible to you, I'm sure it would be a great enhancement !
