subtitle problem

Hi there. I'm not sure this is the best place to start this, but I also have subtitle encoding problems, and when I searched on that topic this is what came up.
Mine is that, while AVStoDVD mostly completes its work, it aborts once it starts encoding the subtitles. These subtitles are are separate from the .mkv movie file, and were encoded separately by myself using Jubler supposedly as a UTF-8 compatible file, and were saved with an identical filename to the movie, but with an .srt ending. I will also enclose the log file. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, to make my dvds i use avstodvd since several years and i am very satisfied with it. But i have a small problem when creating the menu. At this moment i am creating dvds with 20 titles-titles labels- on each dvd.
I use the static menu.
If i edit the menu, each title label has a default value of 20 in the height case
i wish to change this 20 value and the basic way is to do the change by editing each of the 20 title label one after the other.
so my question is: in what folder of avstodvd program is the title "label heiht" value? If i could change this default value i will no more have to do the change in the 20 "title label height" one after the other.
I looked in the menu template -labels.ini- but there is no height value.

Hello there,
Since few days i am getting a message while opening an application "msvcr100.dll missing" which is not allowing me to open the app, I downloaded the msvcr100.dll but having problem installing it, Can someone help,

Hello,
"The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer."
When I open WiseCare365 (tried w/ and w/out admin rights), and click "System Cleaner" this error appears,
I tried downloading the MSVCR100.dll but nothing seems to work.

Mpeg2 pulsing every second

Before the pandemic I produced very nice DVDs after converting down from mp4 to mpeg2. Now, on my new 4k capable laptop, my mpeg2 files are pulsing every second. So I did the conversion again on my old laptop with an older version of AVStoDVD. Same result. The only difference is that my original footage is 4k - brought down to HD in Adobe Premiere (to use the Ken Burns effect) then exported as mp4.

Try a full Uninstall of 2.8.6, then re-install 2.8.7. I feel that there are some leftover files from 2.8.6 causing the problem.

From the A2D help file:

Anyway, if there is already an old or broken mscomctl.ocx file, the Installer will not overwrite it. In that case AVStoDVD will complain. You have to:

· Delete any previous mscomctl.ocx files in your system folders (e.g. C:\Windows\System32 for Win32 or C:\Windows\SysWOW64 for Win64)
· Run as administrator .\AVStoDVD\Lib\mscomctl_reg.bat file

Your program was recommended to me onthe videohelp.com forums. I have installed your latest version — .EXE dated January 21, 2018 — and still get this error. Please advise me? I'm worried Youtube will take the video down before I can correct your install! Thank you.
