Thread: [Beepcore-java-users] Where to find documentation on beepcore

I have just started looking into beepcore, I am doing some networking =
between a pc and an embeded machine. I read about beep and have decided =
to take a look into it. I have been trying to find info about it but =
have had limited sucess. It looks as if http://www.beepcore.org is down =
for now. Would any one be able to point me in the right direction to get =
more info and examples. I have downloaded beepcore-0.9.07 and looked at =
the examples but I'm looking for more of an explanation on the java =
implementation of it. I'll greatly appreciate any help.

There is not much of a documentation on implementation. You'll
probably have to learn it the hard way i.e. by looking at the code
and wading thru this mailing list. It's really not that difficult.
EchoProfile example I think is a good place to start. If I'm not
mistaken there is a GettingStarted.txt in the kit. The key to learning,
in my opinion, is asking questions. Lots of them! Huston is pretty
prompt in replying. Although he has been awfully quiet lately :-)
