Putting a stray apostrophe at the beginning of the configuration file will cause the application to crash.

Failure to retrieve part of nested multipart message

The proxy fails to retrieved parts of nested multipart messages. Within Thunderbird 2.0, the following message is received: "EmailException: Too few parts were specified for this multipart section".

The source of the message was Apple Mail (2.753.1).

Failure to send email with attachments from Thunderbird

When sending an email with a single binary attachment (approx size 50kB) from Thunderbird 2.0.0.9, a MailboxMessageSendException occurred. (The exception message was "The email message could not be sent. Please check the message and try again.")

Smaller binary and text attachments were successfully sent.

hotmail SMTP failure

Hotmail has changed protocols; first SMTP message gets
sent, but subsequent SMTP messages fail and an email is
sent to your hotmail email account to visit hotmail.
There you have to enter some text to 'reactivate???'
the account.

Don't know if reactivate is a correct word to use, but
the account seems to be not usable until this is done.

Hi Josh,
Are you still working on this project? I've got an
interesting issue that you might have fun with.

I have setup the proxy on my Win 2003 server that is
cable-modem attached to the internet. I've removed
the ip restrictions & boosted the client counts, for
testing purposes.

My outlook express client on the server & on a laptop
(behind the server's nat) connect fine to hotmail via the
IMAP proxy & apparently send fine via the smtp proxy.
They also connect via pop3.

My new Windows mobile 2003 smartphone connects to
pop3, but errors out each time when attempting to
connect to IMAP.

The logs for this fail condition are attached. Near as I
can tell, the phone got logged in & hotmail returned
data & that it's the translation of hotmail http to imap
that's not working.

I can't compile my way out of a brown paper bag, if i
should test again w/ a debug build, would you mind
mailing one?

handling disconnects?

There seems to be some issues in handling disconnects of Internet connection (or when waked from hibernation). HttpMailProxy does not seem to reconnect??

When just simply reading one message, the CPU spikes. And sometimes the proxy just runs 100% of the CPU?

Did I miss some settings?
