<div class="markdown_content"><p>The JavaLibrary should explicitly encode/decode BMPStrings as 16-bit characters.</p> <p>The attached patch adds code to the BER/PER encoder/decoder for handling BMPStrings.</p> <p>I'm not 100% sure about the "UnicodeBigUnmarked" (16-bit big-endian without byte order marker), but I think it is correct.</p></div>
