&lt;p&gt;The editor lets you create and modify your level in text format (with syntax highlighting), can include a custom background image and runs the level directly in Bolo. A complete HTML documentation of the level file language can be found at:&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Although in text format, one was not able to edit the levels before, since some kind of (simple) encryption is used to scramble the levels. Based on reverse engineering of the encryption scheme, BolEdit can now save custom levels in the encrypted format and lets you edit the original levels.&lt;/p&gt;
