Execute a command before updating

I would like to be able to execute a script/command (something like "python foo.exe") before a feed is updated.
This could be implemented either by running a script before each update cycle, or by adding a new field for every feed: command to execute.

Why? Because some sites don't offer RSS/Atom-feeds...by simply running a script before updating a feed I could let my script generate an RSS-feed which will then be shown in BottomFeeder :)

Sort Feeds By Display Title Within Folder

As far as I can tell, feeds within a folder are sorted
by feed url rather than display title, making it more
difficult to find a specific feed within a folder with
a large number of items.

Shortcuts for Show All/New Items

I need to aggregate feeds from password protected/ssl servers
(apache 2.0), but the password makes the feeds inaccessible...
how difficult would this be to add to BottomFeeder?

Higher priority for GUI-Events

Hi,

I often enable the autobrowse option because many
feeds supply only a link or less than a line of text.

When I step through the item list using the cursor
keys "up" or "down" each page will be loaded before the
next GUI event will process. This means that if page
loading is slow, the GUI won't response to new input
immediately and will process all new events very late.
Each of these new cursor up or down events will start
another load and again the GUI shows no response while
loading a page.

I think page loading should be a background process
with the ability to be cancelled by new page load
requests. GUI events should have higher priority than
page loads so I shall be able to request a new load and
therefore cancel current the load.

Remember last used Layout

BottomFeeder seems to start with the same window
sizes and window layout in each new session. I'd like to
start with the layout I've used in my last session.

This originally was a comment by a collegue of mine but
I'd second it.

Log-File Switching?

I want to store old items.But the more BtF stores
"item lists",the more BtF gets unstable,you know.So
I do monthly backup,and refresh the Log-file.
So I need to swap & restart BottomFeeder to check
old Logs.I know it's a bit strange.Because most
users just erase old "item lists",I think.
Anyway,do you have any plan which enables us to
swap the log file in the menu tab or enables us
export "item lists"(It doesn't mean the feedlist,it
means the "item lists" in the item pane.) in HTML,
TXT,or any other format?

Umm,I wonder why this project isn't popular.(It
seems so for me at very least.)Anyway,I love
BottomFeeder so much.Thank you.

Export Feedlist

OPML, OCS or RSS (like syndic8 does).

Setting to flip mouse buttons

I'd like a setting so the right and middle mouse
buttons functions can be flipped. I keep hitting the
wrong menu and closing the window. (I guess I'm just
too used to the old Smalltalk button configuration)
