could you add anouther field to the submit-bug screen
to control+select multiple developers/users to send email
notifications?

Print Detailed Report

Much to my surprise File | Print does a print screen of
the first page. [I didn't know you could hack into the IE
Print menu.]

I figured IE would just print the HTML page since I had
done a search showing all the details of the first 50 "not
closed or postponed" bugs.

We'd be happy to try and help develop a routine to print
a detailed report or export a query to a text file for
printing in Word / Excel / Access.

I've only had a minute to look over the bugs online
source code. The first thing we'd need is a database
relationship diagram of how the tables link together.
Open up the bugs.mdb in Access and use Tools
Releationships...

The next clue we'd need would be an overview of where
the print routine currently is. Why does it do a print
screen? Is this a feature, a temporary placeholder, or a
work around for a "feature" of IE and how Bugs Online
is layed out with the tabs?

The same happens when trying to print the "report"
graphs from the My Bugs tab.

I'm all for on-line viewing but some people still have a
secretary print their emails and put them in real file
cabinet. :-)

BTW Bugs Online was far easier to install on our W2K
system than Bugzilla and Bug Rat that we also tried.
The only one to succeed! Having clear and simple install
instructions is certainly a good start. Thanks!

Package releases as zip files

I suggest that releases be packaged as zip files
instead of gzip'd tarballs.

The tarballs are largely a Unix format. I know most
Windows zip utilities can handle either format but I
think most Window users are more likely to recognize a
zip file for what it is than a .tar.gz file.

Many intermediate screens

While installing and testing this product, I noticed
there are many intermediate screens that do nothing
but require me to click a link to go to the next
screen which then displays the modified or submitted
data in full detail.

Why not just take me right to the detail screen? One
obvious example is on submitting a new bug. Just take
me right to the Detailed Bug information.
