Unfortunately when CPPChecker checks these files (using PC-Lint), I get a ton of errors added to the Problems list.

How can I exclude these files from Lint checking?

#5 Problems configuring CppChecker for PC-lint

I wanted to use CppChecker together with PC-lint. My problem is that I don't see any error markers in the editor. I've tried the Indigo and Kepler releases of Eclipse. The dialogs for configuring CppChecker are a little bit different between the two versions (see attached screenshots, especially Indigo_CppChecker_Settings_PC-Lint_Settings.png and Keppler_CppChecker_Settings_PC-Lint_Settings.png).
The source code is targeted for a MSP430 microcontroller and the compiler we use is the one from the IAR Embedded Workbench.
The installed features for CppChecker are the "CppChecker Feature" and the "CppChecker PcLint Parser".

Regards

I'm trying to use the CppChecker with an eclipse based IDE (using CDT) by Metaware. I'm not thinking that you'll know the specific IDE but perhaps I can check that CppChecker will work with the version of eclipse it is using?

The IDE version is derive from CDT 6.0 and has (unknown) customisations.
The Eclipse platform is Version: 3.5.1

Minus the unknown customisations, is there any incompatibilities with the versions listed?

Also, the CppChecker logging doesn't appear to work when directing it to the console. It does work when directing it to a file. I get the following error.
> Warning: no files to check in call to checkResources!

So, it seems like the project file might not be read correctly. On thing that crossed my mind was that we use linked resources. Would that impact the plugin.. .i.e., can it deal with these?

Many thanks in advance,
For instance I save a file (with autobuild) named 'physics_modules/FEMDiffusion/FEMDiffusion.C', and CPPChecker generates the console command:
gcc -c -Wall ics_modules/FEMDiffusion/FEMDiffusion.C

which is missing the first 4 characters in the filename.

Installed CppChecker as per instructions on the website into Eclipse CDT 5.0.2 on Eclipse 3.4.2. Included the CppUnit, Doxygen and gcc parsers.

Activated the CppUnit parser in project settings, rebuilt the project and ran the tests. No signs of the CppChecker plug-in working.

Opened the "C++ UnitTests" view and there is a single button to run my test file. When I click this I get the message "Tests not yet run in XXX" and nothing else happens.

I've changed various settings but can't seem to get anything working.
