without -AA (without namespaces and with old iostream).&lt;br /&gt;
I had to change all #include &amp;amp;lt;iostream&amp;amp;gt; to old format &lt;br /&gt;
#include &amp;amp;lt;iostream.h&amp;amp;gt; to build it. After that chnage &lt;br /&gt;
everything worked. &lt;br /&gt;
So iostream.h include format should be configurable for &lt;br /&gt;
HP-UX. If you do not use namespaces use old iostream &lt;br /&gt;
