&lt;p&gt;I have installed Cyberoam iview version 0.1.2.8, on Centos 6.8.&lt;br/&gt;
The good news is that the installation seccessfully finished with all services integration (like postgreql and Java). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But which i'm facing as an unkown issue is the failed Email tests sents, from the Cyberoam iview web page.&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Logs that are collected by the Iview are very critical for our organization. Organization wants to keep each log details and records for minimum period of 2 years and these logs should be accessible in Iview graphic mode. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1.Please add the backup and restore option via FTP, So that the files could be backed up and restored automatically.&lt;br /&gt;
2.Please make the option available for daily, monthly and yearly backup and restoration of logs. So that the logs could be restored as accordance.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I had been using the version 0.1.2.6 and very stable as my firewall is cyberoam utm. but when I upgraded to 0.1.2.8 version by upgrade patch, iview stopped getting logs and stopped archieving. As a result I uninstalled the patch which my system is windows XP. Now I do not get the logs and archieves and do not able to start the service. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I want to read and cross the squid files from an IPCOP (ipcop.org). For obvious reasons, I'm not installing anything on this distribution so iView appeared to be the right choice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But no data collection at all. Still my device is recognized and active : when I typed the IP, it found the netbios name. I made sure, on the ipcop, that my IP is well authorized to receive data and my 514 port is definitely open and free.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What should I do more ? Is the device type fitting Ipcop ?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That's why, we need to have a log parser in order to integrate our existing UTM on iview.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the respond.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am glad to get the response against my query, as seriously I have given up the anticipations after talking to the customer care.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Though it was my slip-up that, till yesterday I have not been able to find that the query is already been answered. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Well as advised I replaced the entire attached file in corresponding folder, but in addition I made some changes in Firewall command as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier I have activated the syslog on Fortigate as:&lt;br /&gt;
config log syslogd setting&lt;br /&gt;
set status enable&lt;br /&gt;
set csv  enable&lt;br /&gt;
set facility (left it default: local7)&lt;br /&gt;
set port 514&lt;br /&gt;
set reliable (left it default: no change)&lt;br /&gt;
set server &lt;br /&gt;
end&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I was able to get the logs in Live Log but there were no report.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then I found the administrative guide (Integration with FortiGate.pdf) on the site and re put the command as: &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;config log syslogd setting&lt;br /&gt;
set status enable&lt;br /&gt;
set server &lt;br /&gt;
set reliable disable&lt;br /&gt;
set port 514&lt;br /&gt;
set csv  disable&lt;br /&gt;
set facility daemon&lt;br /&gt;
end&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now I am able to see the reports. I have attached some of the reports for your reference. So I may get some of my doubts cleared.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1.) There are only Web Uses, Mails uses, Blocked Application and Blocked Web Attempts reports available.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2.) None of the other reports have any data or graph. It seems because still the codes of OS5.0 does not have option to get allowed traffic.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3.) None of the reports shows Data volume uses or the Time/duration data has been used. Please advise if there is any way to get the same.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4.)  Is there any ways to get Search Engine report please?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5.) There is an option as Archive Search: a sample report's screenshot is attached, it shows the number of pages retrieve but no data, and even I am unable to get the report exported in excel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6.) I have setup some reports to be mailed every day, but the reports being delivered as blank.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since long I wanted to configure syslog for fortigate, I am happy that I am on the process to implement it through IView. This is really wonderful. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(As i didnt found any way to reply of the threaded message, so here attaching the same.)&lt;/p&gt;
