htdocs/index.php access problem

Maher had problems updating htdocs/index.php in the SF webspace. I've given write access for the dcmms group
to the respective file.

Source data problem (repeated shapefile corruptions)

Nadine contacted me today about repeated shapefile corruptions after commit.

If input from my side is required, I need more information to reproduce and analyse the problem:

svn log output for the relevant files/directory.

svn info output for healthy files

svn info output for corrupted files

The last healthy files.
An example of the corrupted files.

Things you might want to check:
Systems logs on the server

How much free diskspace is available on
a) server
b) client(s)

In case the files got much bigger than I remember:

RAM usage/swap on the server

Daily report (JasperReports) fails when server name changes

Reported by Abdulghani about half a year ago, if I remember correctly.

The problem is not solved yet.

Of course, the simple workaround is to simply KEEP the server name as it is right now.

Eventually the report needs to be compiled again once the new server name/address is updated in the source file.

If input from my side is expected, I need more information (installed software versions, report source files, cron job batch files, etc.

Shapefile analysis problem (NULL shapes)

However, I was at work so I couldn't collect the information.

Apparently, Samer was involved already, provided no solution and didn't file a support request.

Lead pipes not shown on map

GEDWSA reported lead pipes to be missing from the map display.

A symbol needs to be agreed upon and added to the map file.

Problem after upgrade to ArcSDE 9.2

AWC reported a problem after the SDE upgrade to 9.2.

As I don't have a SDE 9.2 installation available, I cannot judge if this is a configuration problem or the
MS4W dlls will not work with SDE 9.2.

The error message:
FATAL ERROR: PHP extension 'MapScript' is not loaded.

Fadi: Where was the SDE 9.1 installed and where is the SDE 9.2 installed?
