I doubt that the upgrade will be very successful. You can try to go to
1.4 first, then to 1.6.
Do you have a lot configured on the router? If it's just a
firewall/router, it may be a lot easier to simply transfer the
settings/config files to a new 1.6 (cleaner also).
There have been a lot of improvements since 1.6 (and a lot of security
fixes), so upgrading is highly recommended.
Caution: The version I uploaded is only for Pentium and up.

Thanks for the reply! I only run D-L as a firewall-router, so I'm thinking the
only really important things to copy would be the dhcpd.conf file, the ifconfig
files and the firewall-rules file. Probably would be much cleaner to just start from scratch. It is running an AMD Athlon XP 2100+, I'm sure the version will work just fine! I'll give it a try Sunday morning when things should be a bit quiet at work.
