Thread: [Devil-Linux-discuss] UDP (multicast) - to - HTTP proxy

Hello Devil Devs!

Now IPTV is very common in FTTB providers, and it is time to add
some sort of "Multicast Proxy" support to home routers. As I
understood from discussion on DL support forum a few years ago,
no IGMP proxy was planned. But now there are new hints: 
"UDP-to-HTTP" proxies, like Udpxy, and IPTV players capable of
using them. 

So, is it possible to add http://sourceforge.net/projects/udpxy/
to next releases of Devil-linux? I am not an experienced
Linux-programmer, building anything for DL will take a lot of
time...

Building anything for DL will also take a lot of time for us.

Create a feature request in Mantis, so we don't forget about this.
Maybe you get lucky and somebody volunteers to implement it.
