This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.6.7' of 'Libxml' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/libxml/ The changes in this release are as follows: This includes a few bugfixes and some optimizations of XPath and DTD validation. Project description: Libxml is the XML C library developed for the Gnome project. The library code is portable (to Linux, Unix, Windows, embedded systems, etc.) and modular; most of the extensions can be compiled out. Libxml implements a number of existing standards related to markup languages, including the XML standard, Namespaces in XML, XML Base, Relax NG, RFC 2396, XPath, XPointer, HTML4, XInclude, SGML Catalogs, and XML Catalogs. In most cases, libxml tries to implement the specifications in a relatively strict way. To some extent, it provides support for the following specifications, but doesn't claim to implement them: DOM, FTP client, HTTP client, and SAX2. Support for W3C XML Schemas is in progress. It includes xmllint, a command line XML validator. This email is to inform you about the release of version '0.09' of 'Linux-VServer' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/vserver/ The changes in this release are as follows: Many features from the development branch were added, so this release is fairly complete aside from the advanced scheduler support, which will be added in the next release. Additional features, like the private namespaces, require recent alpha utilities. You should be able to run older vservers on this release without any issues. Project description: Linux-VServer allows you to create virtual private servers and security contexts which operate like a normal Linux server, but allow many independent servers to be run simultaneously in one box at full speed. All services, such as ssh, mail, Web, and databases, can be started on such a VPS, without modification, just like on any real server. Each virtual server has its own user account database and root password and doesn't interfere with other virtual servers. This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.0.0-pre8' of 'BusyBox' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/busybox/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version includes cleanups and minor bug fixes in preparation for the 1.0.0 release. Project description: BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It provides minimalist replacements for most of the utilities you usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU counterparts. BusyBox provides a fairly complete POSIX environment for any small or embedded system.
