Graham, I'm about to change the project to the Apache licence and move it to Github. Let me know if you're still happy to contribute under the Apache licence and I'll apply the patch.

Attached is a patch to the file which allows the software to be built using ant for distribution by RPM (or other package management system no doubt). I had to make this modification to the build.xml to use of a virtual build root as required by 'rpmbuild' without affecting the behaviour of the scripts placed in the bindir.

Note that the patch does not affect standard behaviour of "ant" or "ant -Dinstall.dir"; only when -Ddest.dir is specified does the extended functionality "kick in".

I can also submit the rpm specfile in question if you would find this useful, but mine is not particularly "compliant" and perhaps better maintained / supplied by interested distributors than myself.

Here is a fixed version with a windows batch file.

The changes from the unix zip are as follows.

* The jar was renamed from org.diffxml.jar to
diffxml.jar.

* The jar was repacked to have the class files in the
correct org subdirectory within the jar.

* The batch file for windows was written and change to
have paths that match the pathes in the distributable.

types not equal fix

This patch fixes a copy-and-paste error which would
cause the error message "Types not equal" to be printed
and comments to be mis-identified as changed.
