1.1 stable binary and source release for Distributed Desktop Search project. The project enhances a wide-used file sharing software (Limewire) with the capabilities of a desktop search application. The goal is to evolve from a file-sharing approach to a complete content-sharing approach.
This release is packaged with a custom desktop search application based on Apache Lucene. The user can now choose her/his favourite indexer: Google Desktop Search or our custom application.
The project idea and the first development efforts are both from KosmoSol, a company specialized in innovative Web applications.
