First major update. Version 1.2 is released today for Python Desktops and two different Web platforms. Many features have been added, the change log is bellow.

In my hurry to release this version I did not translate ver 1.1 from Spanish to English. This is now unnecessary due to all the awesomeness in version 1.2. Ironically, v1.2 is only available in English instead. But this is because for the next version I plan on implementing community translations!

Now for the change-log:
* Flex version is created for distribution.
+ Copy buttons now work on Flex
* NotifyOSD support added to the Python Desktop (Linux) version.
* Improved UI.
+ Added a nice "about" window with a look very similar to Gnome/GTK software.
+ New header
+ Rearranged and simplified prompted questions.
* Translated everything back to English.
* New integrated website serves with guidelines for best paper management.

Pending:
* Create distributable packages for all supported platform. I didn't do this for previous versions because the application was not stable or complete enough. This all changes with: v1.2.
* Add an indicator that tells if the total of "printed" pages is an odd or even number. v1.3
* Incorporate a collaborative translations system. v1.3
* Fix mayor Android bugs, main reason of why I haven't published distributable versions for the platform. v.Unknown

If you did know how to fix the Android bugs, you may fork it. =D Please, just make it a free app or I will pirate it.

Hello dualPrint

Hi, my name is Javier Oscar Cordero Pérez and I have just gotten into programming for the 'who know what number is this' time of my life. On this occasion I've gotten further into it and developed something that works, not for me or for a few, but for everyone who needs to print papers. I present to you: "dualPrint".

dualPrint is a multiplatform application designed to help people in printing large documents on both sides of the paper.

Let's say you want to save paper when printing a document. To do so, you can print on both sides of paper sheets or print multiple pages on each side of the sheets, like done in handouts. Most printers and printer dialogues don't offer an easy way to do these two simple tasks, that's where dualPrint comes in.

Version 1.0(b)
* Tell dualPrint basic information about the document's pages and it will generate the outputs to copy into the printer dialogues.
+ This is the first version of dualPrint, it has two bugs. The program, I made to help students in the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus, have less trouble when printing at C.E.T.E.M.'s computer laboratories. It is released under the MIT License.

Version 1.1
* dualPrint eliminates the need to manually change between odd and even pages, which can be tricky to find among different programs and printing dialogues.
+ All bugs from version 1 have been fixed. Copy to clipboard buttons have been added.
+ At the moment of this blog post this version is near finished yet already made available on-line.

Future versions of dualPrint
* DualPrint also guides you in the process of inverting pages so you won't have to waste paper on trial and error.
+ Guidance help features are in the process of making.

DualPrint is built using Illumination Software Creator. I will offer dedicated releases for Linux, Windows, Mac and HTML5/web. Once these platforms are fully supported I hope to improve the Android version and maybe create another for iOS.
My intentions are to go deeper into programing, not to expand dualPrint, but to develop various other multiplatform Free/Libre opensource applications.
