the addon "Uptime-record" stop to work after the 1.4.11
upgrade ipcop some one have the same probleme?

dansguardian improvements

I would be great if the DG addon included a patch similar to:
http://dansguardian.org/downloads/svenanders/anderspatch.zip
(A patch to allow filter group by port)
Also clam-av support would be great.
I would possibly be interested in helping with this effort.

Survive IPCop Patch

Feature so that addon server can recover from an ipcop
patch being applied and blitzing the config files that
addon server has modified.

Also need to provide these facilities for MODS so that
they can also recover from ipcop patches.

Ability to install private mods.

I think it would be usefull to have an option for installing
mods with md5sum check (who are not available from
the addon server system) for people who wan't to be
able to install their own private mods.

Conflicting mods

Besides the check on dependencies as described
in "840811 Dependencies" it also might be desirable to
check for conflicting mods before installing a mod.

Setup cleanup option

There are now 3 options in the CLI setup program.

install, uninstall & development.

Uninstall does not touch the files that store
informations about stored modules. This is useful for
upgrading and testing.

A 4th option called clean is perhaps needed. This would
blitz everything that is installed by addon server.

It could also give you the option to uninstall all the
MODs installed by runnning all the uninstall scripts in
the uninstall directory.

Improve error reporting in GUI

Need to be able to handle the various errors that maybe
be thrown up by the bash scripts. And display them in
the web GUI.

Less cluttered interface

User of addon server has requested that the 3 options
of Addon server (current addon, readme and updates) be
called initially from one page and then different
sections can be access from there.

This would require additional mouse clicks but would
make interface less cluttered.

What do we think?

Mini news section

A section of one of the webpages or a new webpage would
show latest news about addon server. Latest releases,
latest bug fixes etc. etc.

Indicate that new version of MOD is available

This would flag an installed MOD to indicate that a
newer version than already installed is available.

This is not currently possible as we don't store what
released they are using. i.e. if b2 is release no way
to detect that user is using b1 still. Also would need
to take into account if major software verison changed
e.g. Tripwire-2.x.x becomes Tripwire-3.0.0 etc.
