That's just the current release from April that I uploaded to SourceForge yesterday, so doesn't have the RTF import fix. I can spin you a copy from the development branch for testing if you'd like.

RTF is useful for transferring rich text data in and out of Fireworkz, but I don't believe that Fireworkz should offer to automatically save RTF files back as RTF unless it can produce as good a representation as the original, which at present, it can't.

Thanks for that report. The RTF import code was incorrectly assuming zero ANSI characters skip after each UNICODE character rather than one. Fixed in development code for the upcoming 2.30 release.

The point is that other word processors display this without problems, even very simple editors! And if a person opens a RTF file, then naturally he wants to edit it.
