Some new functionality was added. Please, read more about it on http://www.flest.org when website is up and running (it's being built right now).

Flest development team has switched to Flex Moxie M3

Flest development team has switched to Flex Moxie M3

For filtering a paginated product catalogue we needed to use on the catalogue last page that nice list and data effects when un-wanted items fade out and the rest smoothly goes onto their new positions.

These effects are included in Flex3, not Flex2, so we switched to FlexBuilder3 with its Moxie M2 SDK. Unfortunately, Moxie M2 SDK was not that perfect either, catalogue items would blink at the end of the remove/add effects.

Today we tried for the first time a nightly build. It's Moxie M3 Flex SDK. The effect finally started working as it was expected. Well done, Adobe team! From now and further on we will be using Flex 3 SDK nightly builds. So whenever you read a new Flest tutorial, please, keep in mind that they would work with Flex 3 SDK and may not be compatible with its earlier versions.

Flest Framework Best Practices

See best practices for building Adobe Flex enterprise level RIAs using Flest Framework at http://www.flex.sg/?page_id=8

Flest Framework 10 Steps Tutorial

Flest Framework 10 Steps Tutorial is released with source code for Adobe Flex Builder 3.
