FMSec version 4.6 has been released!
Added actions to generate digital certificates (X.509 / SSL / TLS / OpenSSL) for secure communication.
Build system improvements.
Fixes and code quality improvements with Codacy and SonarQube.

The very first version of FMSec (called "KonqSec" then, supporting only KDE3's Konqueror), was created on 2009-08-26.
It wasn't on SourceForge from the beginning, even under the previous name(s), but nevertheless August the 26th can be called FMSec's "birthday".

Due to SF disabling support for PHP, the project's website redirected to the SF project page, which was not intended.
The issue is fixed now (by uploading static HTML).

According to the ChangeLog file, the very first version of FMSec (called "KonqSec" then, and was just for KDE3), was created on 2009-08-26.
It wasn't on SourceForge from the beginning, even under the previous name(s), but nevertheless August the 26th is FMSec's "birthday".

FMSec version 4.5 has been released!
Added extensions for running programs with LibHideIP, LibNetBlock and LibSecRm preloaded.
Significant improvements in building and packaging - it is now possible to install system-wide and an RPM specification file for building RPM files has been added.
Code quality updates.

FMSec has been uploaded to a test repository on GitHub, and has passed a code security check.
While not many tools support the languages used in the project, it's still worth to perform such tests and fix any important problems if any are found.

Added suport for Thunar from Xfce 4.x (without TrueCrypt, which not only is deprecated in general, but also doesn't compile with newer compilers any longer).
Unfortunately, no suitable MimeType values could be found and "application/octet-stream" is taken strictly by Thunar, allowing the operations to be done only on files of unknown type, while you'd wand to encrypt e.g. also text files. A workaround is to skip the limitation, but this causes some of the operations to appear in the context menu of all objects, even unsuitable ones.
