Currently this seems to be missing.

backslash character cannot be imported

Backslash characters exported from Outlook calendar into ics format cannot be imported into Thunderbird Lightning. In addition, the first character after the backslash along with the backslash is converted into a space. Possible solution: using \\ instead of single \ character (by editing the ics file) fixed the problem; during the subsequent attempt to import, backslashes were imported properly into Thunderbird Lightning.

Crash on Conflict Item

If you have an item that is a conflict item (meaning it shows up as a yellow icon), the program will bomb out.

I don't have Visual Studio, but I looked at the code and I think you can fix this by checking the IsConflict property prior to adding an item. If you find that it is IsConflict, I would notify the user and Open the item so they can choose which version is the correct one.

wrong date values in ical file

the exported ical file (from outlook 2003 sp2) contained date values in the form "DATE=VALUE:YYYYMMDD" where it should have "VALUE=DATE:YYYYMMDD". This made kde's korganizer crash, when accessing the file.

my workaround:

sed -i 's/DATE=VALUE:/VALUE=DATE:/g' yourexported.ics

thanks for the tool, anyways...
