Startup fails on Freemind in windows.

At startup the software fails. freemind.main.FreeMind can't be started is message.

Any ideas why this started today?

Thanks, It is not very clear how to look for a backup on mac. So far I can't find anything.

Hi, file is corrupted, so there are parts missing. Say, you can't find a backup saved in the c:\users\<you>.freemind folder?</you>

your file is corrupt (contains only zeros...) and I'm unfortunately not able to rescue...

May I ask you how have you resolve the issue? I have the same error in my freemind file:

Error while parsing file:freemind.main.XMLParseException: XML Parse Exception during parsing of the XML definition at line 1: Unexpected end of data reached

I have the same problem on snap Freemind 1.1.0_Beta2 and Ubuntu 22.10. Freemind is crippled and unusable in its current state.

I hope that this is a known issue because I'm the 3rd person to report it. The additional text pane at the bottom of the screen is not available. The space where it should be is just a line. I've had this result on ubuntu 22 and 20. I've looked for a ./freemind directory but it does not exist. Hope this helps solve the problem. Thanks
