&lt;p&gt;Firstly, thank you so much for creating such an effective and user-friendly software gnaural. I read some of the open requests on topics which even I wondered since decent past that needs to be upgraded in gnaural such as vertical zoom functions, etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would like to request one more feature in the future release, if possible can you add a real-time or offline metered reading of the entire session in terms of frequency shifts, like a countdown.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Left Ear (frequency in hertz) &lt;br/&gt;
Perceived Binaural Beat (frequency in hertz)  &lt;br/&gt;
Right Ear (frequency in hertz)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;so that this data can be linked as a visual reference in a responsive infographic video, to provide a visual guide about the content, much helpful especially in case of Non-steady state sessions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;P.F.A  below containing the example snapshot of the readings.&lt;/p&gt;

The neurological mechanism of binaural beats depends on very constant phase.  The "annoying tone", I am afraid, cannot be avoided.
