Ubuntu 20.04 (x86-64)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Plotting something on the EMF terminal with &lt;code&gt;set ylabel 'RMS fitting error ({/:Italic E}_h)'&lt;/code&gt; results in a bogus space being inserted before the &lt;em&gt;E&lt;/em&gt;, so it looks something like this:&lt;br/&gt;
RMS fitting error ( &lt;em&gt;E&lt;/em&gt;&lt;sub&gt;h&lt;/sub&gt;) instead of RMS fitting error (&lt;em&gt;E&lt;/em&gt;&lt;sub&gt;h&lt;/sub&gt;)&lt;br/&gt;
The other terminals I have tested, including SVG, are not doing this, see attached files.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</summary></entry></feed>
