Any way to open the password box when a hot key is hit (or Windows Hello when configured)?
Thanks

What does the 'extended' option mean?

We have the option of selecting the Ctrl, Alt or Shift checkbox and choosing a key from the list. To the right of this this field is an additional checkbox labelled "Extended". What effect does ticking this box have?

By the way: In addition to Ctrl, Alt and Shift, it would be useful to be able to select the Windows key as well.

Autotype problem with password reference

Hi!

I have the same problem.
I have a entry with hotkey that in the password field contains a reference to another record like {REF:P@I:1C3532849506F4449E5FD9B02984HC15B}.
When only this database is open, the plugin works fine and types the correct value by hotkey. If you open another database, then it types real reference string {REF:P@I:1C3532849506F4449E5FD9B02984HC15B} instead of the actual value.

I would be very grateful if you pay attention and correct this bug.

Sorry for the late answer.
I finally found where it came from.
I didn't notice it happened just after the launch of KeePass.

I had 2 triggers that open my databases, first my personal database with hotkeys with password reference and then an other database.
I just tried to change the order, first "the other database" and then my personal database, problem solved :)

I made one more test, when I have the reference issue with hotkeys, the global auto-type (by default Ctrl, Alt + A) "works" and types the referenced password but not the hotkeys.
I think the problem comes from the trigger that doesn't let enough time to the plugin to "resolve" the references.
If you want to work on this, let me know if you need more informations.

Hmm, I never spot this error. But probably because I didn't check all scenarios. Could you give me exact steps to reproduce problem or send me sample kdbx database (or two if neccessary) with few entries (and bindings) in which this random behaviour occurs? In this case I would be able to create new version of plugin without this error ;)

I have a problem with the autotype fonction that occurs randomly.
Most of the time it works like it should do but sometimes the the reference string is entered, something like this : {REF:P@I:F2EFEFB97ABC1A4381BC92EB98DA7877}

To fix it I have to open the entry and "resave" it.
KeePass v2.31
I have 2 opened databases and 5 specific hotkeys.

Have you heard of this problem ?

Thanks
