Fortunately, they also say "Many of these problems were fixed in Java SE 6,". However, they also point to "frame.setVisible(true)". Maybe, we have to check our code for that in certain conditions...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;@Robert: Could you please post some information about your machine? CPU, RAM? &lt;p&gt;I have a utf8 bib file with accents on some letters (French é). JabRef is configurated for utf8. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When I import such a file é characters end up into Ã©&lt;br/&gt;
I am pretty sure my file isin utf8 since it is created with texstudio who supposedly works in utf8...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any idea of what is going wrong?&lt;/p&gt;
