The minimum platform requirements for JHotDraw 7 remains J2SE5.</p> <p>Please note that the JHotDraw 7.0.8 framework is unstable. Most notably, it<br /> integrates three different &quot;offsprings&quot; of the original 5.2 version.</p> <p>Major new features are:<br /> - undo/redo functionality<br /> - better support for MDI (bug-fixes and special menu for MDI commands)<br /> - applications can start with an empty drawing<br /> - version callbacks and pluggable strategies so applications can ensure<br /> version compatibility with JHotDraw</p> <p>Work on some other features - like support for Drag'n'Drop and auto-scrolling<br /> has been started but those features are currently not activated or not fully<br /> functional because they have not been tested thoroughly. </p> <p>Moreover, some new functionality and refactorings caused minor changes<br /> to the architecture and the API.
