When I run this program the HelperGUI fails to clese. I tried the X on the uppr right and the Close on the system menu but the app won't close. I had to bring op the task manager and kill the application.
I am running the program from Eclipse on Windows 10.

View.notate() displays garbage

I just wrote the tutorial program HelperTest from your tutorials. When I click View.notate() in the HelperGUI the score display is all garbled. I opened the midi file in a notation program and its ok there as you can see from the screen shot.
My OS is Windows 10.

Thanks
In 1.6.5 bassClef.gif is broken but two.gif not. I downloaded 1.6.01.jar and they were OK in there. You may want to create an additiona library or a fork of the project to add the extensions that suit your project,

Interfaces

I want to create custom implementations of classes like Note and Phrase, but I'd rather not extend them.
