A focus issue has been found in the trigger event/condition/action dialogs, for which I've implemented a workaround now.

The change to require that triggers run from the KeePass program directory where they can be protected by the operating system was made in KeePass 2.54 https://keepass.info/news/n230603_2.54.html. This was done for security reasons and is unlikely to be reversed.

Hello, I checked https://keepass.info/help/v2/triggers.html but i just found the 'Environment variable' trick and I don't think this is an answer to this request.

Would it be possible that in the PreferUserConfiguration=true configuration, the KeePass.config.enforced.xml would be store in the "% APPDATA%\keepass" directory please ?

Yeah, but the problem is why wouldn't it be added if it could be an useful and basic feature.

Also why would I need a plugin to do something that should be done out of the box 😂

I also assume it won't be added to KeePass, nevertheless you might want to try my PasswordChangeAssistant plugin which allows to do that (and more)
