after keyword generation the user explicitly saves the results using the ‘save’ button.
This is not an option for the glossary – checked definitions are saved implicitly when the user returns to the repository. This is not really consistent, so I’d propose a ‘save’ button for selected definitions as well

I don't know how I succeeded last week, but saving glossary entries seems impossible

You click on Generate Glossary, check definitions (Include in Glossary) you want to include and click on Generate Glossary.
If it does not work for you please indicate which LO does not work so that we can check (and fix) it.

The action you mention doesn't seem to work. I cannot retrace the definitions I've checked and/or added. I have tried this with the following LO's:
- xml
- xml in 10 points
- Word
in each document I have generated the glossary, checked some of the proposed terms+definitions and I have added 1 made-up definition. After clicking the 'Generate Glossary' button (which seems to me a bit counterintuitive I'd rather call it Save) the original screen from the 'Properties' tab reappears... without additional data.
I have checked under the 'info' and the 'metadata' tab for the presence of the new definitions but they were not there.
After that I did another trial - the same as described above and using the Save button additionally but this does not seem to work either.

But glossaries are saved in the "Category" folder, not as a metadata for LO itself.
You can find glossaries in Dutch Learning Objects folder, just following LOs. I do not say it is very systematic, but it is done this way :-).

thanks!
That solves the technical problem for now, although the method/interface could use some improvement. But we'll see how our test persons manage tomorrow... ;)

One of our test persons noticed this as well. She entered terms herself and then could not find where to save them. She only found out that they were saved once she returned to the repository. So a save button seems necessary.
