#152 Names of LOs
At the moment, the names for the LOs are automatically inherited from the Iasi portal. However, sometimes these names are not the best names. To give two examples
1) accents are not possible, which is a problem for at least the Portuguese files
2) sometimes the prefix dut is added to a file (e.g. dutIntroductie HTML)
The question now is: would it be possible to change the name of an LO in ILIAS? This would improve the test results, as users will probably be more positive on the system when the names are shown correctly.

Yes, you can change name of a LO in ILIAS (metadata tab of a LO).
I can confirm there is a problem with accents on the Iasi portal. Ionut, please can you look at it?
It seems that UTF-8 is used so it should be not a big issue to enable accented letters.

There is a problem with accents on the Iasi server, but it has nothing to do with the scripts, but the actual server. If it's important to have accents, I'l have to check with the guy actually managing the server and see whether he can do something about this. I didn't pay much attention to this because I'm used to having the same problem with some romanian files both in Windows and Linux (file name contains illegal characters and cannot be displayed..or something like this).
