Juan had a good suggestion at the WP5 meeting last Monday: would it be possible to show the definitions from the ontology also when using the definition finder? It would make the definition search much more interesting!
What is meant by "definition finder"? Glossary generation or definition search?
I am not sure whether we want to use the definitions from the lexicons during glossary generation, since it would bypasses the "interesting implementation" of definition extraction and also may affect validation of the definition extractor.
The definition search just acts on ILIAS glossaries now, so searching the lexicons at the same time would also be a mixing of two implementations.
I agree that the output would be more interesting, but as a side effect we would not validate the semi-automatic glossary extraction anymore but a mixture of definition extraction and prepared lexicons.
