openssh-4.2p1-4, ssh connects to this host are not
possible anymore with macssh.
After username and password are entered, a macssh
window opens briefly, then closes, when connecting to
this server.
I'm not sure if I should file a report against sshd on
debian, but all other ssh clients (windows and older
versions of ssh under linux) seem to run fine, so I
suspect it's an issue with macssh.
This happens on a G2 machine.

Thanks for any help.

CR/LF conversion can't be disabled (port forwarding)

When CVS port forwarding, MacSSH performs CR/LF
conversion on the data stream. This will corrupt binary
files and also breaks the CVS client/server protocol as
described in the CVS client/server protocol spec.
Erm, I can't really explain why this seems to work with
MacCVS (my guess would be that the CVS protocol
implementation in there is less strict than the spec).
But I would suspect that binary files break when being
copied to or from the repository.

Font issue

I noticed that the ANSI/PC font has one minor issue. taper une longue ligne de commande suivie d'un
suite des caractčres tapés tronquées (la fin n'est
pas envoyée) avec le retour chariot.

Par exemple, taper:
vi /usr/pkg/etc/httpd/httpd.conf<retour chariot>

conduit ŕ un truc comme:
vi /usr/pkg/et<retour chariot>
