The game freezes the system

Hi,
I downloaded the package mars-0.6.9-amd64 provided on sourceforge and installed it on trisquel 4.0 (ubuntu 10.04 derivative).
The game froze the system when I started it and had to do a hard reset.
This bug is reproducible and happens every time I attempt to start the game.

Computer : Airis Praxis N1103A (integrated Intel gpu and Intel Core i3 cpu)

Kernel : 2.6.32-27-generic x86_64

glxinfo : in the attached file.

Under archlinux :
The game fail to create a config file :
Searching for configuration file... Found nothing. Will create a new one.
Searching for data files... Found /usr/share/marsshooter/
Faild to save configuration file /home/mcmic/.marsshooter/!

It seems to me it try to write in "/home/mcmic/.marsshooter/" which is the path to a folder, not a file.
When I close the game :

It somehow does not recognize fribidi, but it is being detected by cmake.

menus and info windows are blank rectangles Ubuntu 10.04

The info windows like \"status bars\" and FPS counters are blank white rectangles. The main menu also a blank rectangle, however the text appeares and the selection works. Same display problem with all windows. Bug appeares both windowed and fullscreen mode in all resolutions.

The game starts normally (graphics and music all ok) up to the main menu. When i select to play any kind of game, the game begins but without showing any graphics at all. The ships appear as text names on a blank screen which can move normally.

I have tested this on a dell 1564 laptop with a shared memory Intel graphics card.

Running Ubuntu 10.10 32bit and the game seems to have some sort of white (blank?) graphics around any text-boxes, (i.e. main menu, options, tutorial messages)

Hi!

I have installed x86_64 deb with M.A.R.S. Then after reboot my computer stopped working well. After a while (1min - 5min) it freezes. Can't do anything, only reboot. I have uninstalled MARS, libopenal1, libglew1.5 and reinstalled graphic drivers. It helped.
I am running Ubuntu x86_64 2.6.35-24-generic and ATI drivers 10.12 @ Radeon Mobility 5650. Notebook: Acer Aspire 6740g.
