&lt;p&gt;Version 3.07 includes to following changes:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;New activity spots in buildings and vehicles.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Improved agriculture and food production.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;New event notification popup display.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;UI improvements and lots of bug fixes.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Version 3.06 includes to following changes:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;New hallways and connection hatches between settlement buildings.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;People now walk in shortest interior paths between buildings.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;People now avoid exterior obstacles such as vehicles and buildings when walking outside.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Improved building/hallway placement when constructing new buildings or resupply from Earth.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Adding initial internationalization with German, Dutch, and Esperanto language translations based on localization (st.pa and Lars Christensen).&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Code refactoring: replacing string constants with enums (st.pa)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;UI improvements and lots of bug fixes.&lt;/li&gt;

Version 3.03 is primarily a maintenance release and includes to following changes:

\* Fixed bug in Linux OpenJDK 6 &amp;amp; 7 start up.
\* Added new UI start up music \(Lars\)
\* Fixed bug causing people to get stuck when exiting airlocks.
\* Fixed bug causing people to be stuck in light utility vehicles after missions are canceled.
\* Fixed bug with distance calculations when creating missions in mission creation wizard.
\* Changed default settlement configuration to be two settlements and 28 people.
\* Refactored inventory code to improve performance.
\* Fixed bug where construction supplies are consumed again when a construction mission is cancelled and later restarted.

This patch fixes a bug that was locking up the simulation soon after starting on Windows Vista/7 computers and possibly other systems.

This bug was due to problems with how Runtime.exec handles output streams.

Changes in version 3.01 include:

Settlement map tool:
\* The tiled background texture now drags, rotates, and zooms with the map.
\* The Labels button can toggle on/off \(Lars\)
\* Building labels on the map now have white semi-transparent outline
to show up better against backgrounds.
\* Prerendering SVG images to improve settlement map display performance.

Local save/log directory changed from "mars-sim" to hidden ".mars-sim".
Adding several new mission info panels to the mission tool.
New areothermal power generation function for buildings that generate
power only in volcanic regions.
Seven new types of buildings with SVG images including all construction stages.
Two new settlement templates: trading outpost and mining outpost.
Lots of bug fixes and performance improvements.

2.90 adds salvaging of equipment, vehicles and buildings to the simulation.  Settlers can now both build and tear down buildings to rearrange their settlements how they choose.

2.90 also has a new Nimbus look &amp;amp; feel based on Lars Christensen's work.  This requires a Java 6 update 10 or newer virtual machine to run the application.

2.88 is mainly a maintenance release with some code restructuring and bug fixes.

We moved our code repository from CVS to Subversion.  We also changed the project build structure from Ant to Maven.

We created a new Java Webstart release of the project, which can be started from this url: http://mars-sim.sf.net/webstart2/mars-sim.jnlp
