Does MathCast support Quantum Computing notation? If not, can it please be added?

Quantum Physics may seem advanced to the average person, but Quantum Computing is picking up fast. It will be the natural progression of Computer Science and it will be widely used in the industry soon, with lots of Quantum programmers (who don't really need to understand the Physics behind it). Bottom line is that there will be a greater need to write in Quantum notations, as there will be more programmer jobs, leading to more education courses, more books being published, etc.... Hence the need to write Quantum symbols easily is already here.

Thanks for considering.

merge emf files

I wanted to put a MathCast equation onto a diagram I had as an emf file, and wanted to merge the result into a single emf file. Opened a docx in Word with narrow margins, put the diagram emf on the page, put the equation emf on top positioned as required, then ajusted page size to eliminate too much whitespace, saved result as pdf. Went to Inkscape, opened pdf as Poppler/Cairo import, exported result as emf. Thought others might find it useful.

How to create a summation (sigma) notation?

I have the following editor input that gets me close to what I want:

When I type Vpp (using subscript) id defaults to 'Pi' number (two 'p' characters default to 'Pi'. How do I escape that? I want to have two 'p' characters in subscript.

Thanks!

Sorry if it's obvious but I can't seem to work out how to enter a triangle instead of
right triangle.

Thanks for your help.

"One last thing to keep in mind...
When you save the equation, MathCast removes the space from step 2 mentioned above. If you re-open the equation, you will need to re-enter that space or the overline will be over the whole number."

Your creative solution works, as long as the space-character is present in the Rapid Mathline. But when the save-function weeds out "superfluous" spaces, this renders your workaround useless. The space-character creates only a transient, block-like structure.

Let ‹ be the block-start marker and › the block-end marker, respectively:

I typed into the Mathline:

1.) 0.14285‹14285›

2.) Ctrl+= (Or if you want to use the Menu Bar: Math > Overhead Operators > Overline)

Now the block is permanent and Mathcast will remember it.
